1968

Oxford Frozen Foods Limited was established

and an 8,000 sq ft Factory was built with the

capacity of 2 million lbs annually.

 
 

we introduce onion rings

1971

Oxford Frozen Foods Limited diversified and began producing onions rings and entered into carrot

farming & processing.

 

we expand our family for the first time

1982

Cherryfield Foods and Halfway River Factory

became apart of Oxford Frozen Foods Limited.

a milestone in factory growth

1988

A capital project at the Oxford location of $5.5 million involved the expansion of 6,250 sq ft addition to the blueberry processing area, 6 million lb cold storage addition, 3,000 sq ft loading dock, and a new onion ring building to house a second production line.

1992

Continued growth creating the total storage

135,000 sq ft with 40 million lb capacity.

1994

Hillaton Factory was purchased by

Oxford Frozen Foods Limited.

 our cross border purchase

1997

Maine Wild Blueberry Company was purchased by Oxford Frozen Foods Limited.

2000

Dock 7 at Oxford location was expanded and created more office space.

2001

The increase of processing capacity to 3 million lbs a day and a 40 million lb cold storage facility was added as a $30 million capital expansion at the Oxford site.

a major expansion

2003

Mega Blue, also known as Peninsula Foods was purchased by Oxford Frozen Foods and a construction of a new battered product factory was built in Oxford.

2010

we continue to take care of

Oxford Frozen Foods Limited was awarded Environmental Excellence in Business Award from the Dalhousie University Eco-Efficiency Centre.

2013

Canada’s Best Managed Companies selected Oxford Frozen Foods Limited, and have been selected every year since. Now holding the Platinum Membership status.

2016

the grand opening 

The grand opening of Acadian Wild Blueberry Co.,

Bois-Gagnon, NB. 

2017

even more storage

Acadian Wild Blueberry added mass

storage through Freezer expansion.

2018

Dock 7 expansion was completed at Oxford.

2019

appetizer growth

The Appetizer facility was completed at

Acadian Wild Blueberry.

2020

completions of many capital projects
