Oxford Frozen Foods Ltd, a member of the Bragg Group of Companies, is a vertically integrated wild blueberry farming/processing company and a major producer of frozen carrot products and battered vegetables.

Oxford Frozen Foods Ltd operates on Natural Gas, two CleaverBrooks Firetube Boilers that are each 500hp.

About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Day to day operations

  • Production Operations – Freezing Tunnels Startup & Defrosting

  • Cold Storage Operations

  • Assist Refrigeration Mechanic’s with minor repairs

  • Follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner

  • Maintain good housekeeping standards

  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Work independently without supervision

  • Attention to detail while maintaining a sense of urgency

  • Work various shifts Monday through Sunday

Oxford Frozen Foods requires all employees to have an active role in organizational sustainability initiatives including,

  • Correctly divert waste to support Zero Waste initiatives

  • React to green wastes (wasted energy and water, air leaks, product leaks etc.) by submitting work orders for immediate repair

Requirements

  • Power Engineering Technology Diploma would be considered an asset

  • 4th Power & 2nd Refrigeration would be considered an asset

  • Experience in an industrial environment would be considered an asset
