About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Work in a safe and efficient manner

  • Keep a clean and organized work area

  • You will be working on forklifts, trailers, Shunt Trucks and other mobile equipment

  • Work with the purchasing department to order repair parts

  • Working in tandem with all applicable safety rules and regulations

  • Coordinating work with other departments and employees of the organization

  • Test driving equipment to detect issues and repairing

  • Ensuring the proper handling of all repair tools and testing equipment

 

Oxford Frozen Foods requires all employees to have an active role in organizational sustainability initiatives including,

  • Correctly divert waste to support Zero Waste initiatives

  • React to green wastes (wasted energy and water, air leaks, product leaks etc.) by submitting work orders for immediate repair

Requirements

  • Minimum Grade 12

  • Red Seal accreditation preferred

  • Must have a valid driver's license
