INGREDIENTS PACKAGING

Juicy Blues are manufactured using the patented Juice Lock process.  This process allows for most of the natural juices containing the color and flavor of the fruit to remain in the fruit throughout the infusion and drying process.  The result is a natural wild blueberry with a juicy and and flavorful texture (30-35% moisture) that has a 12 month self life when properly handled and stored.  This product is ideal for bakery products, dairy products, snacks, and as an additive to cereal.

DESCRIPTION

Juicy Blues are prepared from size graded native/wild blueberries which are cleaned, washed, sorted and frozen by IQF method, and then sugar infused, pasteurized, lightly coated with oil and packaged.

FOOD SAFETY

  1. Juicy Blues are free from foreign material and is processed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
  2. The product meets all FDA limits for pesticides

INGREDIENTS

Wild blueberries, high fructose corn syrup, sunflower oil, tartaric acid, citric acid, and potassium sorbate.

PACKAGING

Juicy Blues are packed 25 pounds, in plastic pail, with a bag liner, and marked with the product name, name of packer, net weight and processing date code.

SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE

Recommended storage temperature is 50 - 70 F.  Expected shelf life is 12 months.
