Security of Supply
As a buyer, you want to ensure that your suppliers can service your
needs year after year.
We operate the largest fruit farm in the world. Between Nova Scotia and Maine, we own and farm over 12,000
acres (6,000 hectares) of our own wild blueberry land, and manage
approximately the same number of acres for independent growers. We source
fresh wild blueberries from every growing area including Quebec, Maine, New
Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island.

5.
Research and Development
As a dominant player in the
wild blueberry industry, we lead the way in innovation. We
achieve this in all aspects of the business, from farming and processing, to marketing and research.
Customers see us as an extension of their own Research & Development departments. Whether
to develope a new cut of carrot or fulfill retail packaging requirements,
we recognize the need for discussions with our customers.
We
are an industry leader in the development of progressive farming and
processing techniques. In Nova Scotia, we own and manage over 8,000 bee
hives and utilize more than 20,000 hives in a season to ensure proper
pollination of the wild blueberry crop.
